Origin

The island that knew it first.

Aloe vera has grown on Aruba since 1840, when the Dutch colonial governor planted the first fields near Hato. The combination of mineral-rich limestone soil, steady trade winds, and over 3,000 hours of annual sunshine produces a plant with one of the highest concentrations of acemannan and aloin anywhere in the world.

For nearly two centuries, Aruba's aloe has been quietly exported as raw material for other brands' formulations. Aloe Cielo was founded to do something different: keep the aloe whole, keep the aloe local, keep the aloe iced — and bring it to the moment it's needed most.

Sourcing

From the field to frozen
in four hours.

Every gram of Aloe Cielo gel can be traced back to a specific field, a specific harvest day, and a specific cold-stabilization batch. We don't blend, we don't buffer, we don't ship raw.

01

Sunrise Harvest

Mature outer leaves are cut by hand at 6 a.m. when aloin levels are at their natural peak.

02

Fillet

Within two hours of harvest, the inner gel is separated from the rind in a closed-loop system.

03

Cold Stabilize

Gel is portioned into capsules and flash-frozen at −18°C. No heat. No chemistry.

04

Frozen Shipment

Capsules ship in validated frozen-freight cases from Oranjestad direct to your partner property's loading dock.

ARUBA'S ALOE HERITAGE

Sustainability

Luxury, lightly held.

We believe true luxury is responsible by nature. The Aloe Cielo facility runs entirely on solar power generated on-site. Our sachets are made from plant-based cellulose film that is fully home-compostable.

Our frozen-freight cases are reusable and returned with the next outbound shipment. Presentation kit elements — the marble trays, the linens — are sourced from Caribbean artisans and built to last decades, not seasons.

Most importantly: we source exclusively from family-run aloe farms in northern Aruba, paying a guaranteed price floor that is 1.7× the regional commodity rate.

The Founders
"We grew up on this island. We watched containers of raw aloe leave for elsewhere and finished bottles return at thirty times the price. Aloe Cielo is our answer — keep the value, keep the dignity, keep the cold."
